Notes on the New Luxe Details Website
Well, it's taken several months, but it has finally arrived... the new LuxeDetails.com website is open and ready for business. There is so much here... updated security features, new shipping options, more products, and a fresh new design. Oh, yes, and our new blog!
We have new photographs of every product for our new click-and-view-details feature. In working with the cufflinks and accessories during the photographing, editing, and color-correcting phases, we fell in love again with all of our products. The designers we work with care immensely about their art and it really shows in the details.
Some of our products are quite sleek and modern even though hand craftsmanship is employed in every step, such as Ian Flaherty's Rhodium and Swarovski Austrian Crystal cufflinks. Our photographer has tools at his disposal that reveal every facet, every edge, every detail of every item. From macro lenses to who-knows-what wattage of lights to mini-sets for our "models," we see every crevice, groove, etching, or (dare we say it?)... flaw. And there are no flaws in Flaherty's work. It's hard to believe that he hand polishes the Rhodium, because every cufflink is perfect. But we know he does. He's passionate about both his designs and his craftsmanship and it shows.
Some of our products are made lovingly by hand, such as KEREN's crocheted earrings. I love KEREN's technique, because the result is so beautiful and truly unique. Time, effort, care and craftsmanship are all evident in her jewelry.

A Little About Luxe Details and Why We Exist
The power in a first impression is tremendous.
Yes, you read that correctly. It is not the power of a first impression, but the power you achieve in the moment of that initial impression that is important.
In my twenty years in professional services, I have observed those who are successful at every level and the one characteristic they all have in common is a confident presence. In fact, in my first few years of working, I only knew highly confident, careful, intelligent people who would enter a room with much more than a simple physical body… some entered with great charisma, others with quiet strength and still others with brightness and humor.
In professional services, dressing for others is critical to success. An attorney should appear intelligent and powerful. An accountant should appear impeccable and detailed. An expert witness should appear gifted and quick. The impression a person first makes opens the door for the individual to prove that he is who he appears to be.
Yet, in the midst of expectations surrounding appearances, the successful people I knew were highly individualistic, extraordinary in both personality and in dress. The smallest of details allowed them to create deep and long-lasting impressions. How they presented themselves created opportunity, which they then aptly stepped into and filled. So, without realizing it, I modeled myself after these individuals, paying close attention to the details, seeking exceptional quality in every aspect of life, and developing my own unique manner and style.
With each new day, I find delight in discovering designers passionate about their work or accessories made with exceptional materials or craftsmen devoted to highly skilled, cherished techniques. Luxe Details is my opportunity to share my discoveries with you.
